Voyager 1 has not traveled at speed of light, according to physics.
Voyager 1 and his sister craft Voyager 2 are humanity's averagest but farthest spacecrafts that were ever launched from human history to study the outer regions of the solar system and then essentially find out some new scientific missions by the humanity so that way they can find out if the planets has mooons for where humanity next can land back there, and returned up of 5 years of observation, pictures taking, orbiting, and making close flybys....
So upon all of these findings that humanity have archived in its short relative timeline of existence on earth was that the crafts to reach different solar systems one day of our local skies and then hope that the aliens might pick it up the craft and then study it and see whom it was launched from. but just 39 years later, they had not expected that.
and then now its just floating into space, but not at speed olf ight because if you wanna travel at speed of light
- You have to understand its limits
- your craft must not contain any furthermore mass that makes your generation ship incapalbe of reaching the first speed of photons and leading you to your destination cosmicaly.
